I’m a stay-at-home dad, an avid fly fisherman, and the kind of person who plans a trip the way other people plan a project: thoroughly and enthusiastically.
For years, friends and family called me when they wanted to travel. Not because I was a professional, but because I’d been to most of the places I recommended and cared enough to do it right for them. At some point, it became obvious this was what I should be doing for a living.
I understand the overwhelm. I know what it feels like to stare at a hundred hotel options and wonder if you’re about to spend your entire trip budget on the wrong one. The difference is that I genuinely love doing this, and now I do it so you don’t have to.
